Position Overview:
In order to support creative ideas of DKU students, we are in the process of building DKU Creative Maker Space, reminiscent to the Co-Lab at Duke University (https://colab.duke.edu). In the current stage, 3D printers and scanners, robot hand, machine vision cameras, as well as basic mechanical and electronic tools will be equipped.

Associate Director for Innovation and Entrepreneurship
Essential Duties:
Successful candidate shall:
Support in developing and maintaining the daily operation of the lab.
Plan and setup a cloud printing service together with IT department.
Build and maintain a website for the lab setup and maintain an internal Git repository for knowledge sharing.
Provide training and technical support for new users of the lab.
Maintain material list and order supplies.
Assist in organizing guided tours, informal user group discussions and formal seminars to facilitate exchange of knowledge.
Perform other duties as the lab grows and complexity.
University employees' job responsibilities will continue to expand in scope and depth as the University grows in size and complexity in its programs.
Required Qualifications:
Programming skills in C++, Python or Matlab for human-machine interface.
Basic knowledge in webpage design.
Previous knowledge on CAD tools and ROS (Robot operation system) is a plus.
Previous knowledge on setting up Git repository is a plus.
Previous knowledge on cloud printing services, such as 3DPrinterOS, is a plus.
