Responsible for new program launch in SMT process
Participate in DFM/DFA workshops
Work with Program Manager on initial customer & validation samples
Work with Engineering Development team to ensure designs are manufacturable
Design SMT fixtures for printer, placement and reflow machine /process
Create initial PFMEAs and Standard Work Instructions (WI) for manufacturing
Work with QE for Control Plans
Work with Leading Manufacturing engineer for Process Flow Diagrams
Optimize manufacturing systems to meet plant and customer requirements
Participate in innovation and continuous Improvement for manufacturing OE,FTQ and cost
Work with Product, and Quality to identify root causes of manufacturing related issues
Document and share best practices / lessons learned
Qualifications & Requirements
3 years diploma or above education in Mechanical, electronic or Electrical Engineering
Minimum 3 years’ experience required in Manufacturing Engineering, but preference will be given to those with 5+ years’ experience.
Automotive experience strongly preferred
Working knowledge of electronic components and functions
VDA, IATF, IPC certify preferred
Experience in MPM, SPI, ASM, Rehm preferred
Creative & Innovative process developer
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills (8D, or Six Sigma training a plus)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English
Strong computer skills in Windows applications (Excel, Power Point, Word, Project)
Design tools (CAM350, or GC)
Ability to work effectively across functional
Ability to work in a team environment
Works under limited supervision
